Since the early '90s, we have been involved in aerial disaster management. Our main goal was to develop a new aerial technology for more effective and rapid extinguishing of hard-to-reach, large-scale fires. Within this framework, we patented a unique water dropping and firefighting device.
Introducing the service
Our method involves placing a specially designed tank inside the helicopter, which is filled directly with water using a hose and a vehicle fire pump. The method's significant advantages include independence from open water surfaces, rapid deployability, and a substantial surplus of extinguishing water. Thanks to the closed system, the additional water can be used without loss. The technology we employ situates the load not at the end of a long rope (Bambi Bucket) but inside the aircraft. This significantly increases the helicopter's speed, maneuverability, accuracy in delivering extinguishing water, and the frequency of each circuit, thereby improving the effectiveness of firefighting.
We have demonstrated the functionality and efficiency of the technology on several occasions to representatives of the National Directorate General for Disaster Management of the Ministry of Interior and forestry companies. The technology we have developed is not only cheaper but also orders of magnitude more efficient than previously known helicopter firefighting methods.
Under a cooperation agreement with the National Directorate General for Disaster Management, we perform public tasks related to disaster response and prevention. Our team consists of specially trained professionals prepared to handle various emergency situations, such as aerial rescue from water or aerial lifting in disaster situations, and providing search and rescue services. Over the years, our team has repeatedly demonstrated its preparedness and received state recognition. We have intervened in various situations, including:
- From July 25 to 30, 2007, in the Jánoshalma-Kunfehértó-Kéleshalom region, where we extinguished nearly 240 hectares of state-owned forests and about 860 hectares of private forests. - On April 29, 2012, in the Kiskunság National Park's highly protected area, where we assisted in extinguishing a 1,100-hectare juniper forest. - From June 5 to 13, 2013, in flood defense in the Győrújfalu region, performing tasks such as strengthening levees and water rescues. - From May 17 to 23, 2014, participating in flood defense in Serbia as part of the HUNOR rescue team, focusing on water rescues and search and rescue services. - From July 25 to 27, 2015, extinguishing a forest fire in the Kaskantyú region within the highly protected area of the Kiskunság National Park.
